Catalina Ojeda

Catalina was born in Santiago, Chile. Since childhood, she has been in contact with animals and nature, traveling with her parents and by herself, meeting people along the way. This influenced her to study Ecotourism, connecting working with people with one of her true passions: nature and the environment. She started working with Antarctica21 in 2019, falling in love with Patagonia. This allowed her to participate in different internships across the country, guiding, working in logistics and environmental education with people of different ages and places, obtaining various certifications as a wilderness first responder, and leaving no trace. Catalina really enjoys traveling and being outside, connecting with nature, learning about flora and fauna. She’s also into arts, especially drawing and painting.
