Carolina Manzanares

Carolina was born in Punta Arenas and holds a degree in Economics and a certificate in Biodiversity of Patagonia from the Universidad de Magallanes. After her undergraduate studies, she moved to Strasbourg, France, to continue her education, earning degrees in Law and Financial Management. Carolina then returned to her hometown, where her career turned suddenly towards tourism, and she worked as a lecturer and naturalist guide in Tierra del Fuego and the Magallanes region. She spent four years doing maritime expeditions between the Magellan Strait and Cape Horn. Here, she discovered a passion for nature and wildlife. In 2011, Carolina joined Antarctica21, managing and organizing land service operations for Antarctic voyages. Promoted to Logistics Manager in 2015, she is now responsible for Antarctica21’s operations logistics and coordinates between the team of assistants.
