Florencio Acevedo

Florencio was born in Santiago, Chile, and moved to Punta Arenas in the 80s to develop a career in Antarctic logistics. His first Antarctic experience was in 1985, when he traveled to King George Island. Since then his professional life has revolved around the White Continent. Over a period of over 20 years, Florencio’s passion for Antarctica led him to participate in numerous flight operations for different Antarctic bases and research stations, including several in Patriot Hills, located in the center of AntarcticaIn 2019, Florencio joined the Antarctica21 team, putting his extensive experience in Antarctic Logistics to the service of the company and its guests. Florencio’s personal interests include everything related to aviation and aircraft models.
