Cindy was born and raised in Punta Arenas. Her love for Antarctica started in 2013 when she had the opportunity to work for the first time in the white continent, living in a tent for 3 months in Union Glacier and having one of the best experiences of her life.
For 4 seasons, Union Glacier was her home and during the off-season she spent her time traveling and working. Her last long journey was to South Korea where she was living for 6 months learning the language and eating a lot of amazing food. After that, back to her hometown, she joined Antarctica21 as Head of Staffing.
