Kuba Potrawiak

Kuba is from Germany and he first developed a passion for the wilderness and the outdoors when he moved to New Zealand back in 2010. In New Zealand, he studied to become a glacier guide and received the certificate “Hard Ice Guide” from the New Zealand Mountain Guide Association. His longing for further adventures took him to places where he could work on the ice and get more experience in places such as Iceland, Chile, Canada, Norway, and the Arctic. During this time he had the chance to further develop his skills through various courses like the “Wilderness First Responder”. He also went to Greenland to complete the “Arctic Survival & Polar Course”, this course was to prepare him for adventures in our Polar regions. It was all his adventures and experience that finally led him to the Antarctic. When Kuba is not working on the ice, you might find him skiing, hiking, or paragliding down the mountains.
