Jeff Reynolds

Jeff is from British Columbia, Canada, received his B.Sc. in biology from the University of Victoria, and has worked extensively for over a decade in British Columbia, Alaska, and the high arctic in marine environmental consulting. He feels that it is important to understand how the ecosystems you’re in, work from the top down, in order to fully appreciate areas for their biodiversity and interconnectedness. Jeff has been working as a lecturer on various expedition ships for 8 years from exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, and circumnavigating Iceland, to leading expeditions on Canada’s rugged west coast and southeast Alaska. The Antarctic has always been a source of fascination for Jeff ever since he was in grade school and had a map of the Antarctic continent on his bedroom wall. Now he’s grateful to be able to share his passion and knowledge of this incredible place with everyone who visits.
