Meet Our Antarctica21 Team:

  • Hadleigh Measham, Expedition LeaderHadleigh has been living and working in the polar regions since 2008, spending most of his time on ice-strengthened vessels and icebreakers. Since graduating from university with a degree focused on genetics, he has spent up to eight months of each year in the field. He works in West Antarctica and also around most of the Arctic regions. In 2017 Hadleigh visited the North Pole four times.
  • Sandra Walser, Cruise ManagerAfter receiving her Master's degree in history and film studies from the University of Zurich, she fulfilled her childhood dream by traveling to Iceland and Greenland. During this trip, she caught the notorious "polar fever" and just hasn't been able to shake it off. In the past few years, Sandra has taken part in over 70 expeditions cruises in Antarctica and the Arctic as a lecturer in polar history, naturalist guide, photographer, and Zodiac driver.
  • Anaïs Rekus, Expedition PhotographerAnaïs was raised in an outdoor lifestyle. She has worked with many different expeditions, guiding and teaching photography over the past few years. She particularly wants to capture images of flora and fauna of our planet and the wonderful landscapes that surround us, bringing the wonders of nature to everyone around her. Anaïs is always looking for new adventures, especially in places with beautiful views, photo opportunities, and cold weather.
  • Renato Marín, Market Engagement Manager & Webinar HostRenato spent the first part of his young adult life in northern Spain, where he attended University and graduated in Tourism Management and Marketing. It was also there where he started to work in the Travel Industry, in a variety of roles, like digital marketing or market research in both the public and private sector. In 2016 new challenges brought him to Chile and joined Antarctica21 in 2020.
